Watching Transformers the Movie with a 6-year old

Watching Transformers the Movie with E on HD-DVD, the only item that might raise some hackles with moms is how they have a 1-minute conversation about masturbation after Sam Witwicky lets his parents into his locked room. Suffice it to say, the term “masturbation” went over E’s 6-year old head. He made a funny comment at the end that none of the black guys died in this movie. I told him that it’s often an action movie cliche that the black guy does usually die. But if you think about it, the only autobot that died was the one speaking with a “black” lingo. This movie has some serious military porn with the Ospreys in the opening, Predators, A-10s, a Spooky gunship, and F-35s – I hope he doesn’t start reading Jane’s Weapons for fun like I did as a kid. A lot of explosions and loud noises, but it’s a Michael Bay movie. The only blood I remember was a little dribble coming off Sam Witwicky’s forehead. I think E didn’t mind Megan Fox either, but he put his head under the blanket during all the romancing.
