The Google+ ecosystem – Why it could lead to a switch from Facebook

Posted by on July 19, 2011

There was a paradigm shift for me a few years ago when I switched from Yahoo Mail to Gmail due to Gmail’s lack of folders. I started depending on fast search and labels instead. Over time, I’ve also appreciated Gmail’s superior spam filtering and increasing storage limits. Now, Gmail is my primary free email service. I wonder what features of Google+ would convince Facebook users to start spending more time at Google+. The circles feature is cute, but if Google+ does useful and fun integration of their Gmail, Picasa and Docs services, that will be the main reason why I’ll start using Google+ more than Facebook.
