Boing Boing: Bush asks Condi if he can go to the bathroom
This is unreal. The leader of the U.S., the man we should be looking up to for guidance, has to ask if he can go to the bathroom. This could be a fake, but for some reason, I think it’s for real. We’ll see if this is a real photo in the next day or so.

In the circumstances, I being a Brit with no particular axe to grind either way, cannot see that the note was other than reasonable.
What was expected for him to do, stand up and yell…” Hey everyone, I need to take a piss”, or was he expected to sit and wet his trousers. Maybe do as the old standing football fans used to do, take a rolled up newpaper and use it as a pee down tube.?
Come on folks we all have to take a piss, that’s no reason to take the piss!

What is shocking is not that he needed to go, but that he felt the need to ask Condi whether it was an appropriate moment. Surely he ought to be able to judge that for himself. Besides just as for any child before a car journey Condi should have asked him whether he needed to go before the meeting started.
BTW, no-one commented on the fact that Bush cannot even write a few words without mixing uppercase and lowercase letters!!! Even Homer Simpson doesn’t do that!
As my mother used to say on long car journeys ‘you should have gone before we left!’
